Artwork
to promote harmony and balance through Feng Shui John Tinger |
|
Images of paths and roads symbolically help to redirect energy in
a single direction, and will help to connect you to your own path. There
are multiple paths central to this image that also contains tree and metal
energies. This will support concentration and patience energies
to help you get where you want to go. This is a good piece to put in
the Water/The Journey bagua if you are feeling a general lack of direction
or dissatisfaction.
Images of people promote harnony in relationships. This picture
of multiple people in an embrace, combined with a lot of red color for fire
energy, will stoke relationships of friends and family. Place in the
Earth/Relationships bagua to promote harmony in relationships.
I love geckos, and this picture features a troop
of geckos climbing around beautiful desert cactus and wildflowers.
The use of fire (angular, animals) and soil energies (orange earth)
are supported by tree energy (upward plants) makes this piece especially
powerful if placed in a gathering section of your home such as a living
room or dining room. The soil energy and activity will stimulate conversation
and make guests feel welcome and comfortable.
This image adds strong metal energy, supported by
soil energy of the grasses. The strength of the image of the hawk
combined with use of strong metal energy and supported by the soil energy
of the grasses can improve a sense of self confidence. Feelings of sadness,
insecurity, or general imbalance can be alleviated by the sense of well
being and confidence of this piece.
Images featuring flowing, turbulent, active water,
encourage the movement of energy. The full red sails (representing
fire) balance the water element and can encourage the positive movement
of energy and prevent stagnation. If placed in the Fire/Illumination
bagua, can have positive impact on romantic relationships. Can also
be put in the Fortunate Blessing bagua to stimulate the energy needed to
increase reputation and wealth.
The movement of water: turbulent, colorful, and active, promotes
nourishment inside and out. The kayaker is immersed in water, but has
to work with the water to reach his/her destination. This is an active
image, and has a healthy balance of all other energies: white, angular
shapes, trees, red fire. Best to put in Fortunate Blessings/Wind bagua,
especially if you have been feeling dogged by bad luck or misfortune.
The stream is on a direct course throughout much
of the length of this image and the strong movement of water on a
specific path promotes the energy to connect you to your own path.
This piece has a healthy balance of all elements and energies in
colors, shapes, and images. There are triangles, circles, and organic
shapes; water, trees, mountains, soils, and sky; and blues, greens,
yellows, and white; all representing Tree, Fire, Soil, Metal, and Water
energies. This is an excellent image to place in the Tai Chi/Health
section, especially if you are feeling off-center and lacking energy.
Multiple bridges and pathways signify the journey,
and will help you to find your own path. The city itself is interestingly
represented as a circle (soil energy), but combines triangles and
rectangles to balance out the energies at the center of the painting
and the pathways. There is also a balance of other elements in the
water and the sun. This image is best placed in Water/The Journey
area. Here it can increase the energy required to correct an imbalance
if you are lacking self confidence, or feel you have lost connection to
your path.
This image has a strong component of earth energy;
the yellow of the sun and flowers are comforting and inviting, the
red of the tile roofs can stimulate fire energy and conversation.
This is also very balanced with pieces of all energy elements represented.
Would be good to place in a gathering place of your home to increase
energy of family relationships, could also be placed in the Lake
bagua; strong fire and earth with proper balance can also nourish inner
peace, especially if stressed or lacking self confidence.
Images in feng shui can be just as important as the
colors and shapes that support them. This image of a couple in love
represents duality and accentuates the positive energy of couples, relationships,
and friendships. In addition, the supportive tree energy feeds
the fire, but remains balanced by the element of water (too much fire
energy can be destructive). There is also significant movement in the
trees, water, and sky to promote wind energy and prevent stagnation.
All of this promotes harmony in relationships, especially when placed
in the Earth/Relationships bagua.
The active energy of the skier and surrounding landscape
is fully supported by a well-balanced use of all the elements. But
it is the strength of the tree and fire energies that can be used to stimulate
direction if having problems concentrating or focusing on completing
things.
The multiple organic images (fire energy) of birds
represent a network of support. This image also has strong metal
energy component (white colors) and fire energy (red colors). Can
stimulate energy for increasing your support system from friends and
family (if you are having a difficult time) when placed in Helpful Friends/Heaven
bagua.
This pictures shows a couple taking a pleasurable
stroll, the idea of duality accentuates positive energy for relationships,
couples, and friendships. The red background color is good to promote
fire energy needed in relationships, but too much fire energy can be
overpowering and consuming, and the red is balanced top and below by
strong colors to promote balance. Excellent to place in the Relationships/Earth
bagua of your home.
This image is mythical, and may be interpreted in
many ways, and I leave the meaning to you. The picture does have
a lot of metal energy supported by earth energy in both colors and
images. (stars, flowers, tree). It is best placed in the Heaven/Helpful
Friends bagua to stimulate close friendships and encourage support
from friends and family in your endeavors.
The image of the tango is one of passion, romance,
and love. Additionally, the colors, shapes and the textures of
this piece support the energy needed to promote harmony in relationships.
This image contains a lot of fire energy, which is balanced by the
blues of water energy in the shadows of the evening night, and the white
of metal energy in the wall and cobblestones. The shapes contain a
balanced mix of triangular forms (promoting soil energy), circles, and
squares. Best to put in Earth/Relationships bagua.
Besides being a fun light-hearted image, animals
promote fire energy, and the strong yellows promote soil energy;
a gathering nurturing environment. Good for gathering/stimulating
conversation and best placed in an area of the home where people
congregate, such as the living room or the study.
There have been many versions of the Tree of Life,
from the Book of Kells and Celtic art of the 7th century, to modern
times. Tree energy is good for family, relationships, grounding.
This picture also supports fire energy (red color) and metallic energy
(circles) to have a very nourishing quality, while maintaining enough
fire energy for healthy discussions and relationships. Best to put
in the Thunder/Elders bagua.
There are two trees interestingly supported heavily
by metal energy of the white ground. (I am really not sure what I
was thinking here by making the ground white in an obviously summer
scene). Tree energy supported by metal energy can increase rewards, creating
cash flow and wealth. Additionally, the large yellow sun in the background
combines earth and soil energies for wisdom and honesty. Best to place
in the fortunate blessings bagua.
This image is bursting with soil and earth energy
through its use of natural colors, the images, and the texture created.
If there is not enough soil energy in your home, it may lead to increasing
irritability and skepticism. Soil energy is nourishing, and this
piece would encourage that energy. | Energy |
